What is the difference between OEM and ODM supply?
Under OEM you supply the drawings, specification, brand and documentation format and we build to them. Under ODM you supply the performance requirement instead and we return the electromagnetic design, thermal design, drawings and test schedule for your approval.
What information do you need to quote a custom transformer?
Rated power, primary and secondary voltage, frequency, phase, rated current, vector group, impedance, tap range, cooling method, duty cycle, ambient temperature, altitude, enclosure and installation environment, applicable standards, and quantity.
How long does a custom transformer take?
Design and drawing approval comes first, then manufacture and testing. A standard distribution unit is quicker than a rectifier or furnace unit with a custom vector group and cooling arrangement, which is scheduled as a project.
Can I have my own brand on the unit?
Yes. Under OEM we build with your nameplate, your documentation format and your packing specification, so the unit arrives as your product.
