Hebei Youge Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. was founded in April 2016 and is based in Mancheng District, Baoding, Hebei Province, China. We design and manufacture transformers, rectifiers and inductors together with power distribution equipment, and we hold the licences to install, repair and test power facilities at the voltage classes we serve.
What We Build
Our range covers both catalogued distribution units and the special and custom designs that a standard catalogue does not reach:
- Dry type and cast resin transformers — 30 kVA to 6,000 kVA
- Oil immersed transformers for industrial and utility duty — 25 kVA to 20,000 kVA
- Rectifier transformers for electrochemical and DC power duty, secondary currents up to 10,000 A
- Furnace transformers for electric arc, ladle and induction furnace duty
- Marine, shipboard and offshore transformers for coastal and platform environments
- Custom and built-to-print units for non standard voltage, frequency, impedance or enclosure requirements
Rated voltages span 0.4 kV, 6 kV, 10 kV, 11 kV, 20 kV, 22 kV, 33 kV and 35 kV. Annual output is approximately 300 transformers.
Engineering and Manufacturing
We employ around 200 people across engineering, manufacturing, testing and site service. Electromagnetic and thermal design is handled in house, so a non standard enquiry is answered with a calculation rather than a catalogue page. Every unit is routine tested before it leaves the works.
Our engineering work includes a patented secondary pneumatic leak testing method for oil immersed transformers and a patented intelligent dual transformer low voltage package substation. We also operate our own transformer load analysis and maintenance platform and a package substation multi parameter monitoring platform.
OEM and ODM
We supply on both an OEM and an ODM basis. Under OEM we build to your drawings, your specification and your brand, including nameplates, documentation sets and packing in your format. Under ODM we take a performance requirement — capacity, voltages, impedance, duty cycle, ambient and altitude — and return a complete design for your approval. Both routes support third party inspection and witness testing before shipment, and both are covered by our import and export registration, so we can ship directly to overseas customers.
