Design and Test Standards
Our transformers are designed and tested to the IEC 60076 series and the equivalent GB 1094 series, including the parts covering temperature rise, dielectric requirements, short circuit withstand and the specific requirements for dry type transformers. Routine tests are performed on every unit and recorded; type tests are arranged where a project specification calls for them.
Product Certification and Classification Approvals
Product certification and marine classification approvals — whether CE marking, UL listing, or classification society approval from ABS, DNV, BV, CCS or LR — are project specific and are confirmed against the requirement at enquiry stage. Where a project requires them, we support the documentation package, the inspection process and witness testing. We do not present approvals as held unless the certificate has been issued to us and is current, and we will tell you the position plainly before you commit to a purchase order.
