Oil-Immersed Transformer

Oil-immersed transformers remain the default choice for outdoor distribution and utility
duty: proven insulation, effective cooling, and a wide capacity range. This range covers 50 kVA
to 25000 kVA at 6kV to 35kV.
Available designs include amorphous alloy core for reduced no-load loss, on-load tap changing
(OLTC) for networks with wide voltage variation, hermetically sealed construction for low
maintenance, and copper or aluminium windings. High-altitude, tropical and mining variants are
also available.
